Silverfish have silver or grey carrot shaped bodies. They chew large holes into clothing, upholstery or paper. They tend to eat the glue in book bindings, which can obviously damage your favorite books. Silverfish can be found in your garage, under your bed, in appliance, kitchen cabinets, and in couches.
